Apply for a Start-Up Visa in the UK with Key Gains Immigration

The UK Start-up Visa is aimed at ambitious entrepreneurs who wish to start their business in the UK. The Start Up route is open to both graduates and non-graduates, and no initial funding is needed to be eligible. 

Successful candidates receive a 2-year visa and are allowed to bring their families (spouses, partners, and minor children) to the UK. In order to support themselves throughout the duration of leave granted, applicants may work outside of their enterprises in addition to spending the majority of their time growing their firms.

UK Sole Representative Visa

To be eligible for the UK Start-up Visa, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Not have previously set up a business in the UK
  • Be endorsed by an authorised body that is either a UK higher education institution or a business organisation with a history of supporting UK entrepreneurs
  • Be able to show that your business idea is:
  • a new idea (you cannot join in a business that is already trading)
  • innovative (you must have an original business idea which is different from anything else on the market)
  • viable (it has potential for growth)
  • Meet the English language requirement of at least CEFR Level B2 in reading, writing, speaking and listening. There are two exceptions which may apply, depending on your specific circumstances
